FOR TODAY: Time to start making our events on our timeline for THE PERSONALITIES OF THE REVOLUTION. When we are done, we spend a little time discussing our personalities and what they did to contribute to the events of the American Revolution.

BELLRINGER: We start the day by OPENING THIS DOCUMENT, MAKING A COPY OF IT IN OUR GOOGLE DRIVE AND SHARING IT BACK TO MR. B.

Then, we preview THE PERSONALITIES OF THE REVOLUTION PROJECT and how to use the TIMELINE.

FOR TODAY: We discuss our new project- THE PERSONALITIES OF THE REVOLUTION. For today, please work on your research on your personality. Add to the timeline when you are done with all of your research. Please send your research to Mr. B. for grading, trying to grade from the 200 event timeline will be a nightmare.

BELLRINGER: It is MONDAY! That means that we have a quiz today- THE WEEK TWELVE QUIZ- THE BATTLE OF LEXINGTON AND CONCORD. You may use your notes and your research from the recent class project. Students that were not here on Friday are allowed to access the Internet for their answers, if necessary. Students that were here need to rely upon the presentation of information in the classroom on Friday, such as the Reenactment, Video Recaps, class discussions, etc.

FOR TODAY: If we have time, we continue with our discussion of THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

BELLRINGER: Classes have about 15 minutes or so to set up for their LEXINGTON AND CONCORDE BATTLE REENACTMENT PROJECT.

FOR TODAY: Today, we present our LEXINGTON AND CONCORDE BATTLE REENACTMENT PROJECT. All students should be EXTREMELY FAMILIAR with this battle and should probably take notes, this information WILL show up on quizzes and tests!

ALL STUDENTS are expected to assist with the presentation in some way. There will be a group grade for the entire class project, as well as a grade for individual effort. Please make sure that you present information regarding ALL POINTS on the project sheet.

BELLRINGER: We review what is required of the class next class period. Pleae make sure that you are PREPARED for your reenactment next class period. You will have 10-15 minutes to put your reenactment together before we begin on Friday.

FOR TODAY: As a class, please work on the LEXINGTON AND CONCORDE BATTLE REENACTMENT PROJECT.

You will be REENACTING the BATTLE OF LEXINGTON AND CONCORD for me next class period.

For today, you should spend time finalizing the props that you will need for your reenactment- troops, leaders, bridges, layouts of the land, and coming up with the narrative that describes all of the action hour by hour in the battle.

MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE IN THE CLASS CAN INTELLIGENTLY REVIEW ALL EVENTS THAT YOU ARE GOING TO REVIEW FOR YOUR REENACTMENT!

BELLRINGER: It is MONDAY, that means that it is time for the WEEK ELEVEN QUIZ- THE BOSTON MASSACRE. There are only a few questions on this quiz, so that you all have time to work on your reenactment.

FOR TODAY: As a class, please work on the LEXINGTON AND CONCORDE BATTLE REENACTMENT PROJECT. For today, you should spend time putting together the props that you will need for your reenactment- troops, leaders, bridges, layouts of the land, everything! You will also need to come up with the narrative that describes all of the action hour by hour from when Lt. Col. Smith decides to head to Concord to capture the ammunition and supplies to the point when the British troops return to Boston defeated the next day.

FOR TODAY: As a class, please work on the LEXINGTON AND CONCORDE BATTLE REENACTMENT PROJECT. Spend time researching the LEXINGTON AND CONCORD BATTLE and putting together the materials that you will use to demonstrate this battle to Mr. B. on Wednesday of next week. You need troops, leaders, bridges, layouts of the land, everything!

FOR TODAY: We spend some time reviewing "BOSTON, BLOODY BOSTON." This gives a very good overview of the events leading up to the Revolutionary War that we have been discussing over the last week. TAKE NOTES ON RELEVANT MATERIAL.

FOR TODAY: We discuss the RELIGIONS OF THE COLONIES in our COLONIZATION OF AMERICA slideshow (staring on slide #38.)

We begin work on our THE BIRTH OF THE REVOLUTION PROJECT. This project will be due next WEDNESDAY or possibly FRIDAY, depending on our ICAP day schedule.

BELLRINGER: NOTES ON COLONIAL LAW: Here is a resource that outlines the solidarity between some white servants and black slaves in the 1600s and the laws that come after to separate them into two races. Please review the HIGHLIGHTED SECTIONS and TAKE NOTES on this material. Make sure to read the yellow message bubbles along the way, they are notes from Mr. B. At least TWO questions on the Unit Exam will come directly from this material!
